About the role
Launch and lead a new palliative care program within a hospice organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead program startup activities, including workflows, policies, and operations
- Manage budget and oversee financial performance
- Supervise and support palliative care staff in collaboration with Medical Director
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, payer standards, and accreditation
- Support provider credentialing, payer contracting, and care transitions
- Drive program growth, improve customer service, and lead performance initiatives
- Participate in social work services and on-call rotations as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work required
- Experience in hospice or palliative care leadership preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and guide teams through growth
