Responsibilities
- Documents therapy notes on the clinical record
- Identifies and documents patient care needs
- Works closely with the interdisciplinary team to assure appropriate patient care
- Knows, understands, maintains and monitors patients' rights
- Provides patient/family emotional support and education
- Meets in-service requirements including mandatory education
- Perform other duties as required
- Must read, understand, and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures
- Practice and adherence to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement
- Appropriately engages and documents family and patient history in preparation for psychological assessments
- Provides age and developmentally appropriate clinical interventions to individuals of a range of ages and developmental needs
Qualifications
Education: Post Graduate degree
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience. Preferred experience working with children with developmental disorders including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, and intellectual disabilities.
Certification/License: LCSW preferred. Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
