Responsibilities

• Documents therapy notes on the clinical record
• Identifies and documents patient care needs
• Works closely with the interdisciplinary team to assure appropriate patient care
• Knows, understands, maintains and monitors patients' rights
• Provides patient/family emotional support and education
• Meets in-service requirements including mandatory education
• Perform other duties as required
• Must read, understand, and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures
• Practice and adherence to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement
• Appropriately engages and documents family and patient history in preparation for psychological assessments
• Provides age and developmentally appropriate clinical interventions to individuals of a range of ages and developmental needs

Qualifications

Education: Post Graduate degree

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience. Preferred experience working with children with developmental disorders including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, and intellectual disabilities.

Certification/License: LCSW preferred. Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
