Social Worker LCSW - Palliative Care

Make a meaningful difference during life’s most critical moments. As a Social Worker (LCSW), you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered support to individuals and families navigating complex, serious illnesses—helping them find comfort, clarity, and dignity at every stage of care.
Responsibilities
- Provides psychotherapy for both inpatient and outpatient, individual, couples, group and/or family services to improve or maintain the social, emotional, functional, and physical health status of the client.
- Works in collaboration with client and/or family, physician, other staff and other community services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate appropriate treatment.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work.
- Ak Clinical Social Worker License upon hire.
- 2 years experience in providing psychotherapy.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Master's Degree in Social Work, Alaska Clinical Social Worker License, and 2 years experience in providing psychotherapy.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, empathy, ability to work collaboratively, and strong clinical judgment are essential.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $41.63 - $64.63.
