Social Worker LCSW - Behavioral Health
About the role
The Behavioral Health Consultant is a core member of the primary care team, working closely with clinic nursing staff, system-wide care and case management staff, pharmacists, substance abuse specialists, and psychiatrists. This individual assists patients in gaining self-efficacy and management skills, achieving optimal functional health status, and enhancing quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Aid patients in developing self-management skills and improving their overall health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the primary care provider and interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide counseling and support to patients dealing with various psychiatric disorders.
- Assist in coordinating care with other healthcare professionals and community resources.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work.
- Clinical Social Worker license in California upon hire.
- At least 3 years of experience working with adult populations and familiarity with a broad range of psychiatric disorders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in integrated behavioral health.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $43.39 - $67.37 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
This position is part-time and works on a day shift.
