About the Role
Location: 288 North 1460 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. Employment in this position requires a probationary period and a successful criminal history background check.
Responsibilities
- Provides case management services.
- Prepares and drafts reports, correspondence, documents, and alternative written products.
- Serves as an expert witness, providing recommendations and formal testimony in civil court.
- Offers consultation and guidance to internal staff, external agencies, and other collaborative partners.
- Directs patients, inmates, and clients to additional available services or external resources.
- Oversees forensic evaluations and GMC referrals while supporting the timely tracking and submission of evaluation and treatment reports.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Certified Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and related conditions.
- Experience working with the court system.

Pay
$33.08 hourly.
The Agency
The Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD) promotes opportunities and provides supports for people with disabilities to lead self-determined lives by overseeing home and community-based services for more than 6,500 people who have disabilities. Support includes community living, day services, and supported employment services.
