Psychiatric Social Worker within the Bronx Children Mobile Crisis Team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning for children and families
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, schools, community providers, and caregivers to coordinate care
- Connect clients to resources and support continuity of treatment
- Provide field-based mental health support, ensure safety, and facilitate access to services within a compassionate and team-oriented environment
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in crisis intervention and mental health services
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of community resources and client advocacy
