About the role
At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services. We're seeking a dedicated and strategic Social Work Supervisor to lead our Family Treatment/Rehabilitation (FT/R) program in the Bronx-serving high-risk families where substance use or mental health challenges threaten child safety and stability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise up to 5 Social Workers and 2 Case Aides, each managing caseloads of up to 10 families
- Conduct monthly case supervision and weekly professional development sessions
- Ensure documentation aligns with ACS program standards and indicators
- Support the development of comprehensive assessments addressing substance use and mental health needs
- Monitor family engagement, behavioral progress, and in-home functioning to meet performance-based outcomes
- Oversee service delivery efforts, including weekly casework contacts and compliance tracking
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's Degree in Human Services and at least two years of relevant child welfare experience
- Working knowledge of ACS Prevention Standards and Policies, as well as CONNECTIONS and PROMIS data systems
- Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands
- Fluency in Spanish and English a Plus
