Prevention Supervisor
Job Summary
The prevention supervisor provides prevention, interventions, and outreach programming throughout Arizona. The supervisor is responsible for the personnel and oversight of school-based programming the department has established contracts with. This is a grant-funded position, the role is responsible for the oversight of community engagement, programming, reporting, and outreach components, per grant requirements.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Prevention, Communications, Social Work, or a related field, or 5 years of appropriate experience in managing, supervising, or implementing community-based public health programs could be substituted for advanced degree.
- Extensive work experience with no degree will also be approved upon review.
- Proficiency in the following computer programs: Word processing in a Windows environment, Adobe Products, Excel, Access Database, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable teaching in classroom settings, and public speaking.
- Current AZ Driver’s License in good standing.
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
