Social Work Intern
About the Role
A master's level clinical intern is a key member of Merakey's interdisciplinary clinic based behavioral health team. In this role, the intern supports the team by coordinating care, providing resources, conducting brief screening and intake processes, and delivering brief therapeutic interventions. All services are provided to adults within a multidisciplinary clinic setting. The role includes maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting administrative process, and participating in weekly supervision. The intern collaborates with clinicians, prescribers, peers, case managers and external entities to support the delivery of whole person care. This internship emphasizes skill development, ethical practice, cultural humility, and the integration of clinical theory into real world therapeutic work.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a master's level Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Clinical program
