About the role
As a Social Services Assistant, you assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing our facility’s social service programs under the direction of the Social Services Director.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing social service programs.
- Work closely with residents, their guests, and team members to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Support the Social Services Director in managing social service activities.
Requirements
- Prior health-care experience preferred.
- Experience in a post acute or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Average of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred but not required.
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
