Social Services Assistant

The Meadows on University is currently searching for a talented Social Services Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Social Service Department operations.
• Ensure the medically related emotional and social needs of residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.
• Assume authority, responsibility, and accountability for duties in the Social Service Department.

Requirements

• Completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Social Services or similar role.
• Experience working with geriatric residents is a plus!
