About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Social Enterprise and Outreach Developer to join our team. This position works collaboratively with internal departments, community organizations, schools, faith-based institutions, government agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen community partnerships, increase awareness of available services, and improve health outcomes for underserved populations.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the Outreach Manager in implementing community outreach strategies to increase awareness of the organization's medical, behavioral health, and wellness services.
  • Represent the organization at health fairs, community events, schools, faith-based organizations, nonprofit coalitions, and networking events while tracking outreach activities and results.
  • Coordinate outreach calendars, community events, speaking engagements, and other outreach initiatives in collaboration with the Outreach Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records, collect data on underserved populations, and support the development of targeted community outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with the implementation of outreach programs, workflows, and community engagement activities while serving as a liaison between the organization and the community.
  • Gather community feedback, analyze outreach data, and recommend program improvements to enhance services and community impact.
  • Support the development and maintenance of partnerships with school districts, hospitals, universities, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community leaders.
  • Maintain referral relationships and assist with partnership documentation, including Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and partnership agreements.
  • Track outreach metrics, referrals, program participation, and community impact, and assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop newsletters, promotional materials, social media content, and awareness campaigns that support organizational goals and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Education, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in community outreach, public health, healthcare, nonprofit program development, or community engagement.
  • Experience developing community partnerships, coordinating outreach programs, and working with grant-funded initiatives preferred.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, community-based programming, social determinants of health, and health equity principles.
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, relationship-building, and networking skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills with the ability to prepare reports and evaluate program outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
