Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, journalism or related field
Four years of experience managing and developing content for social media channels
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job
- Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers
- Deep knowledge of social media channels and sites
- Ability to interpret and make recommendations based on social media analytics for paid and organic campaigns
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interviewing personnel at all levels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Essential Functions
- Ensures patient and community feedback is promptly responded to
- Works collaboratively with members of the Public Relations Department and the Marketing Department
- Assists with executing strategy for social media channels
- Helps ensure a robust and effective editorial calendar is maintained
- Assists in overseeing the management of social media accounts
- Ensures content aligns with business objectives and brand guidelines
- Ensures guidelines concerning the handling of Personal Health Information (PHI) are promoted and followed
- Helps optimize social media channels and content
- Measures, analyzes, and reports on the impact of social media on marketing and public relations efforts
- Tracks and adheres to budget to ensure efficiency
- Keeps current with social media technology and communication vehicles
- Acts as subject matter expert to ensure all stakeholders stay up to date on social media trends
