Social Media Producer

About the role

The National Desk is seeking a social media engagement superstar to promote content across all of Sinclair Broadcast Group’s network of stations, including our national news brands.

Qualifications

• Deep YouTube, Instagram, Reels, TikTok, Facebook & Twitter publishing experience
• Experience in front of the camera, and a strong personality to match
• Must be an excellent writer
• Breaking news expertise
• Understand how video moves throughout the internet
• Expertise at ‘shareable’ content
• CMS knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Must be able to work in a flexible “LIVE breaking news” environment
• AP Style
• Video editing (Premiere, Premiere Rush, Photoshop, After Effects, etc), and other creative software
• 3-5 years of newsroom experience
• 2-3 years of working with newsroom social media accounts
• Able to adapt to an ever-changing news and multi-platform landscape

Pay

The base salary compensation range for this role is $61,000 to $76,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
