Social Media Manager – Music Platform Launch

About the role

This part-time contract role is ideal for a creative social media professional passionate about the music industry and community building. You will lead the launch campaign for a new music industry community platform, driving awareness and engagement across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels. Based in Nashville with a hybrid work arrangement, you will develop and execute viral campaign strategies that resonate with music professionals and enthusiasts, ensuring rapid growth and visibility for the platform.

Deliverables

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media launch campaign tailored to each platform (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Create engaging, platform-specific content that drives awareness and user engagement
• Generate and execute creative campaign ideas to build a strong online presence quickly
• Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize reach and impact
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging and branding
• Provide regular updates and reports on campaign progress and key metrics

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media campaigns, ideally within the music or entertainment sector
• Strong understanding of viral content creation and platform algorithms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Ability to generate creative concepts and execute them effectively
• Familiarity with analytics tools to track and optimize campaign performance
• Hybrid availability in Nashville; must be able to attend in-person meetings as needed
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of current trends in music, social media, and digital marketing
