Responsibilities
- Create and publish 5–10 short-form videos per week for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Capture high-quality lifestyle footage of dogs, cats, and products.
- Create educational, entertaining, and trend-based content.
- Create UGC-style content that feels authentic and native to each platform.
- Plan and manage social media content calendars.
- Pitch fresh content ideas every week.
- Test different creative angles and iterate based on performance.
- Edit videos with engaging pacing, add captions, text overlays, and animations, and optimize for watch time and retention.
- Create eye-catching cover images.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience managing social media for consumer brands, ideally in e-commerce, CPG, wellness, or pet-related industries.
- Proven success growing social channels and building engaged communities.
- Strong expertise in short-form video content (TikTok, Reels), trend forecasting, and storytelling.
- Excellent writing and communication skills across multiple brand voices.
- Proficient with social media management tools and basic graphic/video editing tools.
- Comfortable analyzing data and using insights to drive strategy.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and effective in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
- Passion for pets is a strong plus!
