About The Role
Social media at Day0 Labs goes beyond keeping a feed active. We use social to understand audiences, communicate product ideas, tell stories, introduce experiments, share what we’re learning, and build communities around the products we create. As a Social Media Intern, you’ll learn how content connects with product strategy, brand, community, and go-to-market. You may gain exposure to communication for Day0 Labs, CreatorBAE, UnfoldWin, and future Day0 experiments as they develop.
What you’ll learn
- Content strategy
- How Teams Decide: What should we talk about? Who are we talking to? Why would they care? What format makes sense?
- Explore content pillars, themes, audience intent, editorial planning, and product storytelling.
- Short-form storytelling
- How An Idea Can Become: reels, short-form videos, hooks, social posts, founder stories, product stories, educational content, launch content.
- Explore why different formats work for different messages and audiences.
- Brand voice
- How Products Develop a Recognizable Personality Through: Language, Tone, Visuals, Messaging, Repetition, Point of view.
- See how a company’s voice can remain consistent while individual products develop identities of their own.
- Community research
- Explore Conversations Happening Around Areas Relevant To Our Products, Including Creators, AI, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Productivity, Reflection, And Emerging Digital Behaviors.
- Learn To Identify What People Are: Talking about, Asking for, Struggling with, Excited about, Questioning.
- Trends & culture
- Learn how to evaluate trends rather than simply copy them.
- Explore whether a trend: fits the audience, fits the brand, adds something useful, creates a storytelling opportunity, should be ignored entirely.
- Social analytics
- Gain Exposure To Signals Including: Reach, Watch time, Retention, Engagement, Saves, Shares, Comments, Clicks.
- Learn how teams use those signals to develop better hypotheses for future content.
