Social Media Intern

About the role

Codeable is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team in Lahore. In this role, you will support the marketing team in creating content, writing captions, scheduling posts, researching trends, and helping manage Codeable’s presence across social media platforms. You will work closely with the internal team to create engaging posts, reels, stories, hiring content, and brand-focused updates for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, enjoys creating content, understands online trends, and wants to grow in digital marketing and brand communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule social media posts, reels, stories, and updates.
• Write captions, hooks, and short-form content for different platforms.
• Research social media trends, content ideas, and competitor pages.
• Assist in managing Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn pages.
• Support content planning through calendars and posting schedules.
• Coordinate with the team for creatives, hiring posts, and company updates.
• Track basic performance metrics such as reach, views, engagement, and followers.
• Help maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms.

Requirements

• Fresh to 6 months of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Basic understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Good writing skills for captions, hooks, and short-form content.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience creating reels or short-form videos.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or video editing tools.
• Interest in tech, startups, software, or digital products.
• Basic knowledge of content calendars and scheduling.
• Ability to research trends and turn them into content ideas.
