Social Media Intern

Summary of Position

Join our dynamic team as a Social Media Intern for the summer of 2025! In this role, you will play a crucial role in our brand communication strategy by traveling to our corporate and plant locations to capture engaging, on-the-ground content.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring alignment with our brand and communications strategy.
• Capture, edit, and produce high-quality photo and video content for use across various social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the Brand and Communications teams to support internal and external events, including trade shows, promotional campaigns, and employee engagement activities.
• Monitor social media trends and provide insights to enhance our social media presence and engagement.
• Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external events.
• Support marcomm tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Location: Proximity to Indianapolis, IN; Chicago, IL; or McGregor, TX is required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Familiar with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or similar software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
