Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager

About The Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager to lead our organic social media initiatives and community engagement efforts. This role is vital in shaping how Beta Bionics communicates with people living with diabetes, caregivers, healthcare providers, advocacy partners, and the broader community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Beta Bionics' organic social media strategy across key consumer and healthcare professional channels, aligning with broader marketing and brand goals
• Translate marketing campaigns, product education, clinical milestones, conferences, and advocacy initiatives into engaging, platform-specific content
• Monitor industry trends, audience insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for social media growth and engagement
• Oversee content creation and scheduling through agency partnerships, ensuring compliance and brand consistency
• Build and maintain an active online community by managing social listening, user-generated content, and direct interactions with followers
• Manage influencer marketing initiatives, including building relationships with creators and managing the Patient Ambassador Program
• Foster authentic partnerships with advocates, patients, healthcare professionals, and community groups to enhance awareness and trust
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Creative, Clinical, Legal, and Regulatory to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness
• Define KPIs, analyze social media performance data, and optimize campaigns for engagement, reach, and sentiment
• Hold agency partners accountable for delivering measurable results and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, content strategy, digital marketing, or related disciplines
• Proven experience developing and executing organic social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and emerging channels
• Experience managing external agencies and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong skills in content strategy, community building, KPI measurement, and influencer content creation
• Excellent storytelling, editorial judgment, and creative direction abilities
• Experience translating technical, clinical, or regulated content into engaging customer-facing communications
• Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or life sciences industries. Familiarity with digital analytics, social listening, influencer management, and paid social media is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to travel up to 20% and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
