Social Media Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up social media content for all 5K Holdings companies
• Keep a master plan for all company social media posts
• Write, edit, schedule, and post content on approved platforms
• Make content fit different companies, audiences, and platforms
• Work with others to get needed content
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to make graphics
• Watch what people say about the company online
• Handle tricky comments and questions
• Help with company events, conferences, and more
• Track how well the company’s social media does
• Find ways to make the company’s social media better

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years in social media, digital marketing, etc.
• Good writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
• Can use Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools
• Understand basic social media data and reports
• Good judgment and can handle tricky situations
• Proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with various teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, etc., or equivalent experience
• Experience managing social media for multiple brands
• Business-to-business, construction, manufacturing, etc. experience
• Familiarity with social media management tools
• Basic photography, videography, graphic design, and short-form video editing
• Experience with paid social campaigns, executive thought leadership, etc.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, and Office 365
