Our client in the CPG industry is looking for a Community Manager for a long-term contract. Our client is looking for a highly engaged, detail-oriented Community Manager to help grow and nurture social media communities across a portfolio of consumer brandsHigh-level details: - Hours/week: 30 - Location: hybrid onsite 2 days per week in their Lakeville, MN, office (Tuesday and Wednesday) - Start date: October 1st, 2026 - End date: September 30th, 2027Why You'll Enjoy This Role: - Be the voice behind recognizable consumer brands. - Work at the intersection of social media, consumer insights, and brand marketing. - Gain hands-on experience with community engagement, social listening, and content strategy. - Help shape real-time brand conversations and cultural relevance across digital channels. - Collaborate with a passionate, cross-functional team in a dynamic marketing environment.What You'll Do: Community Management & Engagement: - Monitor social media channels for comments, questions, messages, and emerging conversations - Respond to consumers and fans across social platforms using approved brand voice and engagement guidelines - Foster positive relationships with online communities while escalating issues when appropriateContent Publishing & Support: - Schedule and publish content across social media platforms using social media management tools and native platforms - Support the execution of social content calendars and campaign launches - Source and organize user-generated content opportunities for brand considerationSocial Listening & Reporting: - Conduct daily social listening to identify trends, consumer sentiment, emerging issues, and engagement opportunities. - Share actionable insights within marketing, communications, and cross-functional teams. - Develop monthly performance reports highlighting content, audience, and community trends. - Contribute to broader earned media and social performance reporting.Strategic Support: - Create monthly content briefs informed by social performance, audience insights, and platform trends - Monitor evolving social media best practices and recommendations for optimizationThe ideal candidate: - Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and content best practices - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams - Experience in community management, customer service, consumer affairs, or social media - Familiarity with social media management and listening platforms, such as Sprout Social - Experience supporting consumer-facing brands is preferred - Experience within a CPG, retail, food and beverage, or pet care environment is a plusIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
