SOCIAL MEDIA/COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

Milwaukee Admirals interns receive a well-rounded internship that stresses both written and oral communication, as well as organizational and teamwork skills. General hockey knowledge is helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage all team social media accounts
• Help develop and execute social media plan
• Compile and update team and player statistics
• Edit video highlights for use on our website, social media, and for media distribution
• Write and edit team yearbook/media guide
• Write press releases
• Update team website and generate new content for the site
• Manage game photos and highlights
• Assist with media inquiries
• Fulfill donation requests
• Represent the organization at various community festivals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in college (undergrad or graduate) and at least a sophomore in standing, or recently graduated

Schedule

Interns will work an average of 20-25 hours per week and are required to be in attendance at all home games.

Pay

Interns are paid.
