Social Media and Content Specialist

About the role

Crawford Electric Supply is seeking a Social Media and Content Specialist to join our Marketing Team. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller with strong writing and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the social media content calendar across all platforms
• Create engaging posts, stories, and short-form videos aligned to brand voice
• Maintain and evolve brand templates, including PowerPoint and letterhead
• Collaborate with the marketing team on messaging and campaigns
• Report and optimize social media performance and content engagement
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with a portfolio of content samples
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics platforms
• Strong understanding of digital content trends, formats, and best practices
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deadlines
• Familiarity with the electrical distribution industry is a plus
