Bombas is a comfort-focused premium basics brand with a mission to help those in need. Launched in 2013, the company was founded after learning that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. For every pair sold, Bombas donates a pair. The brand has expanded to include underwear and t-shirts—#2 and #3 most requested items—while continuing to innovate and make a positive community impact. Inspired by the Latin word for bumblebees, Bombas values collective effort, diversity, and inclusion, fostering a hive where all voices are welcomed and empowered.

About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic, performance-driven Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day management across our Social platforms. Reporting to the Director of Acquisition, this role is ideal for someone who views paid media as a dynamic growth engine and thrives on owning channel performance and optimization end-to-end. You’ll manage platforms like Meta and Applovin, collaborate with Search and Offline teams to hit revenue and margin goals, and triangulate performance data to validate incrementality and uncover growth opportunities. This role bridges media, analytics, and creative strategy, partnering with Content and Site Merchandising teams to develop channel-specific creative and landing page strategies that drive measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Channel Strategy & Performance
    • Own end-to-end strategy for Paid Social across product categories (Sock, Footwear, Intimates, and T-shirts).
    • Execute daily, tactical platform optimizations, managing campaigns/ad sets, pacing, and budget allocations.
    • Identify opportunities for incremental growth through testing audiences, bidding strategies, creative formats, landing pages, and campaign structures.
    • Collaborate with the Search Manager and Offline team on overarching channel strategy, pacing, and performance.
  • Data Validation & Incrementality
    • Cross-reference platform-reported metrics with internal data to validate incrementality and scale what works.
    • Identify discrepancies or trends between platform reporting and internal data, adjusting strategy proactively.
    • Partner with Analytics to evaluate incrementality and pressure-test performance, analyzing customer cohort performance and CAC:LTV ratio.
  • Testing & Optimization
    • Develop and maintain structured testing roadmaps, executing A/B tests within platforms.
    • Leverage performance insights to iterate quickly, documenting successful strategies to build a playbook of "hyperefficient products."
    • Stay ahead of platform changes, new features, and emerging technologies.
    • Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Partner with the Sr. Manager of Growth Content to rapidly test and scale creative assets, translating performance data into actionable feedback.
    • Collaborate with merchandising and planning teams on product support based on company priorities and seasonal stories.
    • Work with site merchandising and digital product teams on landing page and site testing strategies to amplify channel performance.

Qualifications

  • 4-7+ years of experience in performance marketing and media buying, specifically managing Paid Social budgets of $30M+.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling sizable monthly budgets in alignment with CPA and ROAS targets.

Skills

  • Analytical rigor, with comfort working in Looker and Excel to analyze large datasets and translate numbers into actionable insights.
  • A "create vs. find winners" mentality, rigorously triangulating platform metrics with internal incrementality data to prove business value.
  • Experience acting as the testing engine for high-velocity creative, rapidly testing assets and pinpointing winners.
  • Deep enthusiasm for media buying, with a curiosity for platform capabilities and excitement for testing new hypotheses.
  • Proactive, inquisitive mindset, eager to understand tools, experiments, and growth strategies.
  • Flexible work schedule based on channel optimization needs (e.g., weekend platform management).
  • Experience with feed management (e.g., Feedonomics) is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and employer-paid health, medical, and dental benefits.
  • 401k with company match and paid parental leave.
  • Equity in the business for all full-time employees.
  • Flexible paid time off, including over 20 paid company holidays, year-round "Flexible Fridays," and unlimited vacation, sick, and wellness days.
  • Monthly phone stipend and $100 monthly wellbeing reimbursement.
  • Office perks: snacks, socks, and a fun, relaxed environment with team lunches, offsite outings, and company retreats.
  • Regular team volunteering opportunities to give back to the community.
