About the role

At Fiskars Group, we’ve been shaping everyday moments since 1649. From the iconic orange-handled scissors to pioneering brands across gardening, cooking, and creating, we believe in making the everyday extraordinary. We are looking for a strategic, data-driven marketer to lead our social media efforts and support broader digital marketing initiatives. The Social & Digital Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of paid social media, influencer marketing, and organic social media, while contributing across additional digital marketing channels for Fiskars Americas.

While social media is the primary area of responsibility, this role is expected to contribute broadly across the organization's digital marketing ecosystem, bringing a performance marketing mindset and a willingness to support evolving business priorities. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable developing strategy, building campaigns inside advertising platforms, managing creators and partners, engaging with consumers, analyzing performance data, and collaborating cross-functionally to bring compelling campaigns to market.

Responsibilities

  • Paid Social Media
    • Own strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and reporting for all paid social media initiatives across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
    • Build and manage campaigns directly within ad platforms, continuously optimizing audiences, creative, budgets, placements, and bidding strategies to maximize performance.
    • Manage paid social media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of investment and maximizing CTR and other key metrics against business objectives.
    • Stay current on platform capabilities, industry trends, and best practices, implementing new features and testing opportunities that improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Influencer & Brand Ambassador Marketing
    • Partner with internal and external creators to develop high-performing, platform-native content.
    • Oversee the complete lifecycle of influencer and brand ambassador partnerships from recruitment through execution.
    • Build and maintain a scalable influencer program and content library that supports both organic and paid media initiatives.
  • Organic Social Media & Community Management
    • Own the organic social media strategy and execution across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and future platforms.
    • Develop and maintain an integrated content calendar that supports product launches, seasonal campaigns, retailer initiatives, and brand storytelling.
    • Partner proactively with Creative to forecast content needs, develop briefs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets.
    • Monitor social channels daily, responding to consumer inquiries and collaborating with Customer Service, Product, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues when appropriate.
  • Digital Marketing Support
    • Support broader digital marketing initiatives and channels, including Google Ads, YouTube, retail media, and other key platforms as needed.
    • Collaborate with channel owners to develop cohesive omnichannel campaign strategies that maximize consumer reach and campaign effectiveness.
    • Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve campaign planning, content development, reporting, workflow efficiency, and marketing performance.
  • Measurement & Optimization
    • Track, measure, and analyze performance (impressions, clicks, CTR, engagement, etc.) to optimize content and campaigns in real time.
    • Regularly communicate performance, learnings, and optimization opportunities to stakeholders.
    • Manage budgets responsibly, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong return on investment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Serve as the social media subject matter expert and the voice of the consumer within the organization.
    • Collaborate across Media, Creative, Ecommerce, Sales, Product, Customer Service, and Comms teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
    • Operate with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and initiative, proactively identifying opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of social media management and content development experience (CPG/FMCG experience a plus).
  • Hands-on experience building, managing, optimizing, and reporting on paid social media campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms and best practices (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Strong strategic and cultural awareness skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to measure campaign performance, analyze large datasets using Excel, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Clear, compelling communicator—able to translate social performance and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action, continuous learning, and problem solving.
  • Copywriting skills a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in Google Ads or YouTube Ads a plus.
