Role Summary

We are seeking a highly creative, trend-savvy, organized, and execution-focused Social Media Specialist, Content & Operations to help bring social media strategies to life through compelling storytelling, content creation, production excellence, and flawless operational execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing creative development with tactical coordination, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while ensuring consistent brand voice and audience engagement across social platforms.

Top Must Have Skills

  • 2-3+ years of social media management experience with content creation and campaign execution responsibilities
  • Proven experience creating and starring in social media content as on-camera talent
  • Strong videography, photography, graphic design, and video editing capabilities
  • Experience developing content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Experience managing social media operations, content calendars, publishing schedules, and stakeholder coordination
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Deep understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and content optimization techniques
  • Portfolio showcasing social content, video production, creative execution, and on-camera work (required)

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with social media management tools, preferably Sprinklr
  • Experience sourcing and managing user-generated content (UGC), employee-generated content (EGC), and partner-created content
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, and similar content creation tools
  • Experience with social media analytics, reporting, and performance measurement
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Proven ability to maintain accountability and follow through on projects from concept to execution
  • Comfortable engaging with consumers and audiences through social channels, including direct messaging and community interactions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Operations (80%)

  • Create engaging, platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms
  • Capture original photography and video content designed to maximize audience engagement
  • Design static graphics and produce short-form video content aligned with brand standards and platform best practices
  • Serve as on-camera talent in social media content and brand storytelling initiatives
  • Coordinate content production workflows, including asset creation, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and publishing schedules
  • Write compelling social copy, captions, and audience-facing content
  • Support proactive community engagement efforts alongside consumer engagement teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives and brand strategy
  • Source and coordinate user-generated content, employee-generated content, and partner-created assets
  • Monitor emerging social trends, cultural moments, platform updates, and new content formats to inform content development
  • Manage organic social channels and engage with followers and prospective consumers through comments, messages, and community interactions while maintaining brand voice
  • Support reporting, campaign recaps, and performance-based recommendations for future social strategies

Social Media Operations & Tactical Execution (20%)

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Coordinate platform-specific execution, publishing, and performance tracking
  • Maintain and manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment
  • Partner with social media team members to monitor key performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
  • Analyze content and community performance to support tactical improvements and engagement growth
  • Track social media trends and platform changes, making recommendations to improve content effectiveness and audience reach
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and operational excellence across all social initiatives

Additional Details

  • Travel: Up to 25% for content capture, team collaboration, and event coverage
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on content needs or community escalations
