Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Brand Voice
    • Define and evolve Blueair's global social strategy, brand voice, and content pillars across all owned platforms.
    • Manage the channel roadmap and content calendar across product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments.
    • Develop repeatable content series and formats that drive recognition and deepen audience connection over time.
    • Support social's role in search-driven discovery across YouTube, TikTok search, and the other surfaces where consumers research the category.
    • Develop guidelines and toolkits that enable regional teams to adapt global strategy while maintaining brand consistency.
    • Partner across brand, PR, creative, product marketing, and DTC to keep social fully integrated into the marketing ecosystem.
    • Jump in on cross-functional projects and evolving priorities, taking on new tasks as they arise to support the brand's growth and success.
  • Content & Creative Direction
    • Set creative direction and develop briefs that translate brand strategy into distinctive, platform-native content.
    • Partner with creative and brand on content shoots and video production, shaping the work from concept through final cut.
    • Lead real-time and reactive content, keeping Blueair present in cultural conversations while they're still happening.
    • Review and approve high-visibility content to protect brand voice and creative quality.
    • Manage the review path for product efficacy, air quality, and sustainability claims in social content, routing work through legal and regulatory review before it publishes.
  • Influencer & Creator Marketing
    • Lead Blueair's influencer program end to end, from tiering and casting criteria through execution and measurement.
    • Source, vet, select, and contract creators, managing relationships from outreach through wrap.
    • Set the creator vetting and brand safety standard, and maintain the master creator database that keeps influencer, affiliate, and UGC partners visible in one place.
    • Brief creators and approve content before it goes live, protecting brand voice, claims accuracy, and disclosure compliance.
    • Manage product seeding and gifting strategy, determining which creators receive what and when.
    • Manage usage rights and licensing terms on influencer assets, tracking windows, territory, exclusivity, and renewals so no asset runs past its term.
    • Define influencer KPIs and reporting that connect creator activity to awareness, engagement, and conversion.
    • Support the Head of Brand on celebrity and athlete roster partnerships, which the Head of Brand owns end to end, leading social execution and platform-native content across those deals.
    • Coordinate with the Affiliate & UGC Manager, who owns affiliate and UGC end to end, aligning on creator overlap, timing, and content so influencer, affiliate, and UGC complement rather than compete.
  • Performance & Insights
    • Establish channel KPIs and reporting frameworks, translating performance into clear strategic decisions.
    • Own the monthly and quarterly social readout to the CMO and senior leadership, connecting channel performance to brand health measures.
    • Lead competitive benchmarking and audience insights to inform strategy and surface new opportunities.
    • Treat organic social as distinct from paid, building community and brand equity that drive business outcomes in their own right.
  • Team, Tools & Budget
    • Manage the Associate Manager, Social Media & Content as a direct report, owning goal setting, feedback, performance, and development.
    • Set priorities and ways of working across a five-person social team spanning content, community, influencer, affiliate, and creator commerce.
    • Help oversee social content, community management, and platform budgets, allocating resources across channels, partnerships, and production.
    • Help manage the social tool stack, including Dash Hudson, with day-to-day administration supported by the Associate Manager, and support platform seats, renewals, and vendor relationships.

Requirements

    • 6 to 8 years in social media and influencer marketing, with experience leading a brand's presence across platforms.
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Experience managing or mentoring others, whether that's a direct report, freelancers, or a cross-functional team.
    • Strong current fluency across Instagram, TikTok, TikTok Shop, YouTube, and emerging channels, with a clear point of view on what performs on each and why.
    • Ability to translate brand strategy into distinctive, culturally relevant content that earns attention.
    • Experience building or scaling influencer or creator programs, from casting and briefing through measurement, including an eye toward long-term creator relationships rather than one-off activations.
    • Comfortable defining KPIs and turning performance data into clear strategic calls.
    • Working knowledge of AI tools across content ideation, production, and workflow, with a sense of where they help and where they don't.
    • Comfort working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where agility and hands-on execution are key.
  • Nice to Haves:
    • Experience in wellness, health, or another purpose-driven consumer brand.
    • Experience building or scaling recurring content series or formats.
