SOC Operator

About the role

The SOC Operator position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording, alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems, and emergency dispatch, incident reporting and analysis, and remote alarm panel programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording
• Monitor alarm systems for intrusion detection
• Handle emergency dispatch, incident reporting, and analysis
• Program remote alarm panels

Requirements

• Experience in roles like Call Center Representative, Dispatch, or Camera Monitoring is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a customer service or similar role
• Knowledge of security systems and alarm monitoring
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
• Proficiency in using security monitoring software
