About the role
The Technical Sales/Business Development Director at Cadence works with corporate, product marketing teams, and account teams to build and align strategic co-selling and communication collaborations between Cadence and Tier 1 eco-system partners. This includes shifting or elevating the brand, creating alignment opportunities, generating co-selling leads, and increasing sales through new partner channels.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main interface between Cadence's marketing teams and customers; maintain positive and productive relationships.
- Increase market share of both Cadence and customers—promote mutually beneficial expansion of market share, brand perception, and partner channels.
- Expand existing customers' perception of Cadence capabilities for both Cadence and the partner.
- Nurture partnerships with an eye on possible long-term business relationships.
- Develop and direct the development of partner-focused programs, content, and collateral to drive partner channel sales and awareness.
- Plan and produce awareness activities such as campaigns, content, and events to actively promote partner engagement.
- Identify, plan, and execute impactful public relations or in-person event experiences that align with business goals and objectives.
- Train sales on the value proposition of the customer and generate qualified leads through ecosystem evaluations.
- Support Cadence sales teams in developing strategic product development opportunities based on observed needs or gaps in the portfolio.
- Enhance the stickiness of Cadence relationships with key partners and potentially introduce them to new customers via internal sales training.
- Report and analyze program performance and sales pipeline to ensure ROI for investments and efforts.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of Business Development/Partner Marketing experience around EDA and Foundry businesses. Excellent verbal and written communication, including storytelling and content writing skills. Program management experience. Strong understanding of marketing strategies and practices. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
The annual salary range for California is $203,000 to $377,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
