Snack Attendant

About the role

Snack Attendants work in the buffet area and provide courteous, friendly, and professional food and beverage (F&B) services to guests. You will interact with guests and fellow shipboard employees, promptly replenishing the food and beverages in the buffet line. Snack Attendants follow company standards, international health and safety guidelines, and environmental and workplace safety policies and procedures. You may be required to perform all functions in various onboard food and beverage service venues.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, and professional F&B service to guests in the buffet area.
• Interact with guests and fellow shipboard employees.
• Promptly replenish food and beverages in the buffet line.
• Follow company standards, international health and safety guidelines, and environmental and workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Perform functions in various onboard food and beverage service venues as required.

Requirements

• F&B service experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
• Completion of basic education or its equivalent.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
