About the Role

The Snack Bar Attendant at University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is a dynamic position within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
• Prepare and serve food and beverage items.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Control inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products.
• Receive deliveries from vendors and ensure proper storage.
• Report to the department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Stock and inventory products.
• Respond to customer questions regarding facility information.
• Support food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
• Communicate guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director of Food and Beverage and Chef.
• Review schedule for changes, calendar of events, and facility activities on a daily basis.
• Process snack bar purchases using the EZLinks point of sales (POS) system.
• Account for cash and check transactions.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Must meet age requirement for serving alcohol and possess a Certified Food Handler's Card.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems is a plus.
