Snack Shop Attendant

Orchard Valley Golf Course, located in Aurora, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Snack Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items
• Maintains an organized and clean work area
• Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products
• Reports to the department manager when supplies need to be ordered
• Stocks and inventories products
• Responds to guest questions regarding general information about the facility
• Provides support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
• Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Food and Beverage Manager and Chef
• Reviews the schedule for changes, calendar of events, and facility activities daily
• Processes snack bar purchases with the EZLinks point of sale (POS) system
• Manages cash transactions
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; will train
• Must meet the age requirement for serving alcohol and have obtained a BASSETT card
• Past Food and Beverage experience not required but is a plus
• Experience using point of sale (POS) systems
• Food Handler certification required
• Valid driver's license

Pay

$11.00 - $12.00 per hour plus tips

Schedule

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less). Weekend availability is required.
