Smart Completions Coordinator
Job Summary
The Smart Completions Coordinator supports the implementation, administration, and ongoing use of Smart Completions and related CSU digital tools on projects. The position works closely with Construction, Commissioning & Startup (CSU), Engineering, Quality, and Project Controls personnel to ensure completion data is accurately maintained and available to support system turnover and project execution.
Major Responsibilities
- Support project teams in the setup, configuration, and administration of Smart Completions and related CSU applications.
- Cook up the collection, validation, and maintenance of completion and turnover data.
- Aid construction and CSU personnel with systemization, work packaging, turnover tracking, and progress reporting activities.
- Provide day-to-day user support, troubleshooting, and guidance for project teams.
- Conduct user training and onboarding for field and office personnel.
- Monitor data quality and work with project stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Generate standard reports and dashboards to support project execution and management reporting.
- Support interfaces between Smart Completions and other project systems where applicable.
- Document business processes, procedures, and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased use of digital solutions.
- Support testing and validation of application updates, enhancements, and new functionality.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Information Systems, Business, or related field and 5-8 years of experience, or 9-12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting construction, commissioning, startup, turnover, quality, or related project execution activities.
- Experience working with project data, reporting tools, databases, or business applications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both field and office personnel.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Smart Completions or similar completions, turnover, commissioning, or construction management systems.
- Experience supporting large EPC or industrial projects.
- Understanding of system turnover, completions management, and CSU work processes.
- Familiarity with relational database concepts, data structures, and reporting tools.
- Experience with SQL queries, data validation, or reporting, but not required to be a software developer.
- Experience delivering user training and application support.
- Knowledge of digital construction or project information management systems.
