Small Group Tutor - 20-45 per hr

About the role

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn. We are seeking experienced tutors and teachers to provide 1:1 or group instruction to students in the Claremont area of California.

Responsibilities

• In-person instruction at Sumner Elementary School
• Tutoring takes place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM PST

Requirements

• Ability to commute to/from Claremont, CA
• Experience working with small groups of students
• Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus often determined by student questions and comments
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting
• Might be asked to clear an FBI-DOJ background check that is taken in-person
• Negative TB Test Result
