About the role
Tutor Me Education is hiring tutors and teachers to provide 1:1 or group instruction to students in the Claremont area of California.
Responsibilities
- In-person instruction at one school location (Vista Del Valle Elementary School)
- Tutoring will take place on Monday/Wednesday from 2:30 to 4:30pm PST OR Tuesday/Thursday from 2:30 to 4:30pm PST
Requirements
- Ability to commute to/from Claremont, CA
- Experience working with small groups of students
- Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
- Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
Qualifications
- Might be asked to clear FBI-DOJ background check that is taken in-person
- Negative TB Test Result
