About the role
Tutor Me Education is hiring experienced tutors and teachers to provide 1:1 or group instruction to students in the Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities
- Tutoring will take place at Belvedere Elementary School on Tuesday from 1:30 to 4:30pm, Thursday and Friday from 2:30 to 4:30pm PST
- Provide 1:1 or group instruction in K-5th ELA and Math
- Make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
- Work in a classroom setting
Requirements
- Previous experience teaching/tutoring K-5th ELA and Math
- Experience working with small groups of students highly preferred
- Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
- Ability to commute to/from Los Angeles, CA
