About the role
A full-time opportunity for candidates starting their career in public accounting.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility, under supervision, for small accounting engagements involving maintenance of a client’s accounting system.
- Prepare financial statements on income tax basis of accounting.
- Understand the Firm’s practices, policies, procedures, and culture.
- Have a working knowledge of local tax laws, payroll laws, and state sales tax laws.
Requirements and Skills
- Ability to maintain a manual and computerized bookkeeping system.
- Ability to maintain an accounts receivable and accounts payable subsidiary ledger system.
- General office and management skills.
- General computer operations - QuickBooks, data input, and processing.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality.
- High level of intelligence, integrity, honesty, motivation, and aptitude for the profession.
Job Type
Full-time.
Pay
$43,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year.
