Accountant

The Position

Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting to the Accounting & Tax Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for maintaining general ledger entries and ensuring that ledger data is accurate and precise. Provide some insights into the financial performance of the areas of assigned of responsibilities.

• Oversee the accurate execution of daily accounting tasks, ensuring full adherence to established deadlines.
• Ensure all departments comply with internal processes and that all systems and data processing tools operate with built-in integrity.
• Key duties include recording P&L transactions (A/P, transfers, collections, etc.), supporting the monthly management accounts closing process, and handling all month end related responsibilities.
• Provide financial insights on restaurant P&L performance and collaborate closely with Store Managers.
• Support Admins in day-to-day tasks and coordinate with both Admins and Store Managers to ensure timely completion of month end activities.
• Work closely with Restaurant Leaders and the Operations department, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and effective teamwork.
• Prepare all necessary documentation for archiving and assist in Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-Related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting software (such as Navision, Softone).
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• A good command of the English language.
