Accountant

About the role

The purpose of this job is to provide the Controller with confidential financial and statistical information, prepare reports and surveys to appropriate outside agencies, and provide support and assistance in the Finance department.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly required reporting for both internal and external activities
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, general ledger review, and related schedules
• Reconciles monthly bank statements
• Assists in the annual preparation of the Operating budget of the Hospital and Nursing Home

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Possess one (1) year prior experience in Accounting

Pay

Base Pay: $26.50 - $32.00 / Hour
