About the role

The Small Business Relationship Manager NMLS is responsible for delivering excellent customer service in alignment with U.S. Bank Core Values while providing comprehensive financial solutions to complex small business clients with annual revenues generally between $500K and $2.5 million, typically not exceeding $5 million.

Responsibilities

  • Possess expert-level consultative selling, financial analysis, and relationship management skills.
  • Understand advanced business acumen, underwriting expertise, and product knowledge to deliver sophisticated client solutions.
  • Have a strong understanding of banking operations, sales, new business development, customer service and relations, and community relations.
  • Show professionalism and strong working knowledge of applicable lending policies, credit structures, products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Typically possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and three to four years of experience in relationship banking.

Requirements

  • Must be NMLS registered under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including ongoing compliance with all legal and regulatory registration requirements.
  • Comply with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security, suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in required corporate and business line training in these areas, follow account opening procedures, and understand internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes as required for the position.

Compensation

Total compensation includes base compensation in addition to eligibility for incentives based on the employee’s production under the applicable incentive plan.

Travel / Field Activity

Outside prospecting and sales activities in assigned territory 50-70% of the time.

Pay Range

$80,280.00 - 98,120.00
