About the role
The Small Business Relationship Manager NMLS is responsible for delivering excellent customer service in alignment with U.S. Bank Core Values while providing comprehensive financial solutions to complex small business clients with annual revenues generally between $500K and $2.5 million, typically not exceeding $5 million. This role deepens existing customer relationships through routine calling and develops new relationship opportunities through business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Possess expert-level consultative selling, financial analysis, and relationship management skills.
- Deliver sophisticated client solutions with advanced business acumen, underwriting expertise, and product knowledge.
- Maintain a portfolio and partner with internal and external networks to grow revenue and support client outcomes.
- Build relationships in the community, engage with local organizations, and identify business development opportunities.
Requirements
- NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including ongoing compliance with all legal and regulatory registration requirements.
- Compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security, suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Participation in required corporate and business line training in these areas.
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.
