Small Business Consultant (OPS Part Time)

About the Role

The Small Business Consultant will provide general consulting services and report to the Associate Director of the FSBDC at UNF, serving the 18-county region from the FSBDC at UNF office location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting, training, and outreach in the 18-county service area.
• Ensure timely achievement of program deliverables and meet assigned KPIs annually.
• Lead assigned programs within the SBDC and work collaboratively with university staff to ensure program success.
• Interpret departmental policies for area of responsibility as needed.
• Provide direct client services including group training, individual counsel, and public appearances.
• Assist small businesses with activities to start and grow a Florida-based small business.
• Deliver UNF SBDC’s targeted focus programs, including micro-enterprise assistance programs.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other consultants and stakeholders.
• Assist clients in developing and implementing business plans.
• Perform financial analysis and create financial projections.
