Small Business Bank - Senior Manager, Project Manager

About the role

In the Small Business Bank at Capital One, you will manage projects that improve business efficiency and drive results. You will deliver flawlessly executed standards and controls for critical business projects in a well-managed way. Responsibilities

• Quickly put structure in place to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
• Partner cross-functionally to drive delivery of moderate to large complex projects, leveraging strong problem solving and influencing skills
• Provide strategic and tactical thought partnership and revise needs to meet changing requirements
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and documented appropriately to mitigate risk
• Interact and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage projects and expectations
• Drive process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes while providing expertise on processes when representing the department
• Design and produce metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness
• Analyze, identify, and mitigate data issues
• Drive the creation of data tools to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience
• At least 2 years of Process Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 7 years of Project Management experience
• At least 3 years of Process Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

This role is hybrid: associates spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices (McLean, VA or Richmond, VA). Fridays are enterprise-wide virtual work days.

Pay

• McLean, VA: $177,700 – $202,800 per year
• Richmond, VA: $161,500 – $184,300 per year

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives.
