Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in road construction industry (preferred experience in slurry seal or pavement preservation), with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of slurry equipment, materials, and best practices in application techniques
- Leadership: Strong crew leadership and team-building skills
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Safety-Focused: Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety standards; commitment to a safe job site
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with crew, clients, and management
- Physical Requirements: Able to work outdoors in varying conditions; lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant safety certifications; Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in construction management is a plus; Software Skills: Familiarity with project management or construction tracking software
