Piping Superintendent

This Mechanical Superintendent role is a critical leadership position responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete projects on time while maintaining high-level quality, safety, and customer loyalty. The role significantly impacts the success of the company and its mission to be the most trusted name in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate, and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize, and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
• Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule.
• Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety, and best practices.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, and Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems.
• Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leader with a passion for using technology and a desire for a clear career path.
• Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects.
• Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
• Knowledge of managing Plumbing Systems and/or HVAC Air distribution systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred.
• Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred.
