SLP CFY - Travel Contract

About the role

We’re looking for a CFY Speech Language Pathologist to step in where they're needed most. As a traveling SLP with our team, you will provide assessments and treatment plans to help patients communicate and thrive in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and treatment plans to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work with patients to improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Manage dysphagia and other communication disorders as needed.
• Use standardized assessment tools to evaluate patient progress.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Active state license in Alabama is required to start the assignment.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required by specialty.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is preferred.
• Experience with dysphagia management, cognitive-communication disorders, and standardized assessment tools preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in Alabama.
• Must have completed a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Schedule
