About the role

We’re looking for a CFY Speech Language Pathologist to step in where they're needed most. As a traveling SLP, you will provide assessments and treatment plans to help patients communicate and thrive in skilled nursing settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessments and treatment plans to patients in skilled nursing facilities.
  • Work with post-acute and long-term care populations.
  • Utilize telehealth components as part of the assignment.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate eligibility.
  • Active state SLP license required to start the assignment in Alabama.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by the facility.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
  • Telehealth experience preferred due to partial telehealth delivery on this assignment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY candidate eligibility, active state SLP license, current CCC from ASHA, BLS certification, experience in skilled nursing facility settings, and telehealth experience.
