SLP
We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Moorpark, California, supporting elementary school students and helping them develop the communication skills needed for success in the classroom and beyond.
About the role
This is a full-time, 36-week contract position starting August 19, 2026, with a schedule of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
- Support students in achieving communication and academic goals
Requirements
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
