About the role
- Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the position.
- Safeguard assigned Slot assets.
- Responsible for jackpot payoffs.
- Perform minor repairs (e.g., load printer paper) on slot machines and notify Slot Supervisor when technician repair is needed.
- Provide customer service on the slot floor in your area.
- Work with the technical department to ensure all machines in your area are in good working order.
- Report any machine irregularity or suspicious activity to Slot Supervisor.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Must be able to stand for 7 consecutive hours.
- Must be able to calculate simple math problems.
- Perform any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have cash handling experience.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- General computer knowledge and data entry skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
- Knowledge of casino slot operations preferred.
- Previous technical experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to move quickly, stand, walk, and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Pay
Initial placement within the salary range is based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is one component of a competitive Total Rewards package.
